Media Education- The Media Education Network presents activities and information to educators, parents and students; all are related to judging media content for accuracy and content. It offers teaching units, student handouts, timely reports and background material for media education across the curriculum, K - 12.

Media Awareness Network- This Site contains great information and links for parents, teaches and students. It also contains a great downloadable game that teaches kids ages 9-12 how to discriminate good web info from junk info.

Media Literacy Clearinghouse- Included are numerous articles, background and lesson plans designed to help teachers integrate media literacy into classroom instruction. This is a large and complete resource that is organized by media type, including the Internet.

Letters From Kosovo- The Canadian Broadcasting Corp. (CBC) sent email to Yugoslavia requesting residents for real time reports on what is happening with their lives. A live web cam from the University of Belgrade can be found at this site, as well as several
photos of the Yugoslavian crisis.

Kosovo Homepage- From Kosovo, this page contains the daily news articles of events happening in Kosovo.

The Christian Science Monitor- This is the online edition of the award winning publication filled with current information.

Physical Education Digest-This is a quarterly magazine that provides the latest ideas, tips, coaching cues and research on sports, fitness and physical education topics.

National Geographic for Kids- This site covers the same topics as the National Geographic site, but it includes easier text, more graphics and areas to chat, find penpals, and leave messages. Lots of interesting subjects are presented in a monthly magazine format.

Just Think- How do we cope in a world that is media saturated? Dedicated to teaching information, technology and visual literacy, this site provides current information on social events, films and lots more.

Discovery Channel Online-- This TV program based site offers a mind game section, a Feature Stories area, where visitors will find real-world tales, an Expeditions section, where real-time adventures can be found, and a Keido Cam, where real-time photographs related to interesting subjects are located. Links to other Discovery sites provide tons of information to students.

Pro Cartoonist Index- This site contains a collection of the nation's most popular political cartoons, with lesson plans for using the editorial cartoons as a teaching tool in Social Sciences, Art, Journalism and English at all levels.

CNN NR Newsroom- CNN NEWSROOM & WorldView is a free instructional program for teachers to bring the world into their classroom. It contains current news, great ideas for integration across the curriculum and links to more information.

The Journey Inside Newsletter- Intel provides this newsletter full of classroom ideas, hardware information, and grant info.

Weekly Reader's Galaxy- News and fun activities, organized by grade level can be found here. There are special areas for teachers and students.

Children's Express- This site is produced and written by kids from around the world, with the aim of providing for their peers a forum in which to learn about the issues that affect them.

KidsNet- KIDSNET helps children, families and educators intelligently access the educational opportunities available from television, radio and multimedia sources. Highwired- Here high school journalism students can post school newspapers. This site is complete with lessons and all of the information needed to produce a school newspaper. Everything teachers and students require is on the web site. Even if they have no Internet experience, they can learn Highwired in less than 10 minutes.

On2-Online Newshour for Students- Catch the latest reports from student sources here. This site contains lots of topics, covering everything from high fashion to natural disasters. Students and teachers are encouraged to contribute editorials and ideas.

The Digital Daily- The Treasury Department and the IRS produce this Online magazine providing tax information, stories, forms and news.

Fedstats- The Federal Government provides this database of information that includes Governmental Agencies, Policies, Programs, Regional Statistics and more.

Turn to Tomorrow's Morning -This is an Online newspaper just for young kids, a great resource and its fun!

Weekly Reader Galaxy- Magazine and information for both students and teachers, organized by grade levels pre-kng through high school. This is a good one.

KidzMagazine- The only web site made completely by kids, for kids. You'll find articles, reviews, preview, stories, and more within this site.

Yak's Corner- This kids' magazine convers sports, news,  features, and fun for all ages of children.

Crayon newspaper- Read the paper here or visitors can select the news and features that they are interested in and create their own personalized newspaper, sent by email to their computers.

CNN-   Find all of the world's news here, nicely organized by subject headings.

History Channel- Fun and games, history topics, classroom ideas, historic tours and great speeches are but a few of the topics where you will find articles related to history.
